Based on our experience in battery cell manufacturing and battery systems, we have a system for testing the effects of electrolytes on the battery.
The evaluation is carried out using the following various test devices.
It is a test device for one VRFB cell and is used for various performance tests of electrolytes.
About 10 sets of mini-cell test equipment stored in a constant temperature bath. Then, the electrolytes are placed into various temperatures (0 °C to 55 °C) in order to evaluate their performance, changes and limit for precipitation.
This test is to confirm the stability of the electrolyte (eg. precipitation), depending on the temperature of the electrolyte. In order to confirm the stability, a temperature controller and a camera are combined with a microscope to evaluate the stability of the positive electrode V electrolyte (pentavalent) at high temperature and the stability of the negative electrode V electrolyte (divalent) at low temperature. (Stability evaluation detects the precipitation status of precipitated particles by changing the intensity at a specific wavelength.)
The performance of the electrolyte is evaluated by repeating the charging and discharging of the electrolyte. The number of charge/discharge cycles of the electrolyte can be judged to be stable if the performance is stable after 300 cycles or more.
